During the 7 days of Passover you are not supposed to eat leavened bread, only matzo. Matzo is probably not the most delicious food you have ever tasted, so itʼs important that you have some good shmear options. This spread is a fresh, easy way to jazz up your matzo.
-2 tbs of finely sliced chives
-1 tbs finely chopped fresh dill
-2 tbs of scallions, white & light green only, finely sliced
-1 cup of labne
-2 tsp fresh lemon juice
-salt and pepper to taste
-1 persian cucumber thinly sliced- for garnish
-3 radishes thinly- for garnish
Whisk the first 6 ingredients together and combine well.
Spread on pieces of matzo
Top with thinly sliced radishes & cucumbers, garnish with sprig of dill.
